My first time skiing was at Brighton when I was 7 years old and it has been my favorite thing to do ever since. My wife grew up in Brighton and was a pretty serious racer. I'm more into powder myself and never raced, but have learned to love hard pack chasing her around. The Brighton ski team has been perfect for our 3 kids to learn to ski race, love skiing, and to ski everything else while they are at it. Brighton is now home for us after getting a cabin at Brighton in January of 2020.

KIRSTIN LINDSTROM
Board Member
Kirstin grew up skiing in the tall, tall mountains of Minnesota and started racing at a young age on everything from long and skinny Nordic boards to short and skinny alpine skis. In college she took a break from competition and honed her recreational alpine skills in the backcountry and resorts of Colorado. She moved to Utah in 2007, where she attended law school and met her ski-obsessed husband. Their daughter Sanne joined the Brighton Ski Team in 2023 and immediately loved the camaraderie of the team and the challenges and rewards of training and racing. Kirstin joined the board as a result of that enthusiasm and her desire to foster a deep love of skiing in kids who call Utah home. In her free time, Kirstin practices real property law for renewable energy clients.
